GIG REVIEW:: Ed Sheeran Live at AAMI Park, Melbourne

It is so difficult to describe a show that completely blows me away; a show that, unlike any other, makes every hair on my body rise, and goosebumps seep through the gabs in between. Watching Ed Sheeran live was an irresistible experience that captivated me with every moment. I caught myself several times staring at the stage, full grinned and zoned out from the atmosphere around me. It was magical.

ALBUM REVIEW:: JUSTIN BIEBER – Purpose

I’m going to make this as short, sweet and simple as possible. The Biebs is back and he’s better than ever. No, seriously, he will make all the haters stop in their hate rally and with the help of this album, will turn everybody into Beliebers by the end of the year. Well, one would hope so. This kid deserves some solid respect after what he has achieved with Purpose.

FILM REVIEW:: HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 2

The final chapter of the Hunger Games series is here. I haven’t read the books, but I’m guessing the final one is a lot better than the conclusion in the film adaptation. I’d be disappointed if I was the author. The exciting bits give you false hope for the movie. Just when you think a scene is reaching a major climax, and it’s all exciting and suspenseful, you’re forced off

GIG REVIEW:: Def Leppard Live at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

I actually cannot put into words how incredible it was to watch my favourite band, live for the first time, but ill try for the sake of a review anyway. It was incredible; simple, special and very memorable. 80’s Glam Rock was a massive influence in my musical journey, even though I was born in 1989 and I missed that era entirely. Thankfully, my brother kept the era alive for

ALBUM REVIEW:: DEF LEPPARD (2015 Self-Titled)

This album sounds nothing less than a Def Leppard album. There are some modern influences throughout, whether intentional or not, but overall the Lepps are back, their concert isn’t far away, and I must learn some of their new songs. This album made me so happy from the get go. Pour Some Sugar On Me, is undoubtedly Def Leppard’s most well known song. Let’s Go has a bit of that

GIG REVIEW:: Kiss Live at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

If you’ve already been to a Kiss concert and missed this one, then you didn’t miss anything. If this was your first Kiss concert like it was mine, you would have wished you saw them at their peak back in the 80’s. It was a typical Kiss show; blood drooling, guitar smashing, fire blowing, typical Kiss show that they have been doing for years, and it was to a crowd

GIG REVIEW:: Boyz II Men Live at The Palais Theatre, Melbourne

What I remember about Boyz II Men, growing up in the 90s, are their vocals, their harmonies and their extensive list of R&B ballads. So, to see them live would mean revisiting all those memories. It was also my first time seeing a show at the historic Melbourne venue, The Palais Theatre. This concert could have potentially been the greatest R&B concert I’ve ever seen, but unfortunately, the sound system

FILM REVIEW:: STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON

I’ve gone into this movie knowing exactly who N.W.A was, knowing some of their names, what songs were theirs, total respect, but not a devoted fan and knowing little about their history. So, I was very keen to get to know how N.W.A came about. I was extremely enlightened and my knowledge of Rap culture, the history of police brutality and the ‘hood itself has now definitely been expanded. I

ALBUM REVIEW:: TYRESE – Black Rose

R&B is back! Real R&B is back. You can tell quite quickly once you begin to indulge into Black Rose that Tyrese has matured. It’s honest, it’s powerful and most of all, it has a lot of soul. You can really sense the deep and enormous heart Tyrese gives in this album. I cannot compliment it enough. The most incredible thing about Black Rose is Tyrese’s fight for people to

FILM REVIEW:: ANT-MAN

Unlike many of the previous Marvel movies before Ant-Man, the action doesn’t start from the get go. Straight away we know we are in for something a little different to what we are used to. However, there is a back story we are getting to know and this proves necessary. This back story allows us to get to know Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Darren Cross
